Bohol, Bohol, Bohol..I just can't get enough of Bohol.

This part of the country (Philippines)is just so blessed, it has everything nature have to offer. Our four days visit were not enough to explore its beauty.

On our first day in Bohol,  since we arrived in  Tagbilaran airport around 11 in the morning we  decided to  just concentrate  our tour on all tourist attractions located in Panglao and  besides our accomodation was also in that area.

At first our driver that day insisted on having the country side tour because apparently  the tour company already fixed what what will be the itinerary for the day for certain drivers. We explained that  we wanted to take a rest early because one my friends came all the way from Vigan before the night of our departure. Imagine the 7 -8 hours travel by bus.  After he made few calls he agreed that we will do the Panglao tour instead.

We were able to visit: Bohol Bee Farm,
                                  Hinagdanan Cave
                                  Dauis Church
                                  Panglao church

Then we went straight to our accomodation in Paragayo Resort located in Alona.

2nd day is countryside tour day. We had a different driver.  Our First stop is the  Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, then we had our lunch at the famous Loboc River Cruise. It started to rain while we were cruising up until we reached the Chocolate hills . We didn't even got out of the car when we arrived at the butterfly farm . It was pouring heavily when we were at   the Man Made Forest  in Bilar but it didn't stop us from posing for souvenir pictures. We were already drenched when we reached  Baclayon Church. The heavy downpour caused floods and traffic,  we thought our car could not get past the knee-high water.
Part of the tour is a stopover in the  Aproniana Gift shop on our way home. Here you can find Bohol's local delicacies and various trinkets.

Third day,  We were blessed with a good weather. Good thing it didn't rain  because it's  our sea tour, island hopping, dolphin watching and snorkelling. We were not able to go to the Virgin Island because all my companions were afraid of the big waves, take note that we were there a couple of days after the tsunami in Japan.

It's almost 1 past noon  when we got back in Alona , we wanted revisit the  chocolate hills and man made forest  but suddenly  it rained again so we just stayed in the resort and had dinner later at one of the  beachside restaurants in Alona Beach .

Last day in Bohol. We asked our driver to pass by  at the Blood Compact site  before we took  the supercat  bound to  Cebu
