We went all the way to Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, Bohol to see Tarsiers in their natural habitat.
There are tarsiers displayed on other tourist spots in Bohol but what better way to see them than in the wild.
We weren't able to see many tarsiers because it was raining when we went their and we didn't went up further but for me, it was worth going there and getting wet
.
Tourist can only go inside the sanctuary with a guide, besides the guides already know where the exact location of the tarsiers. How do they know? In the morning before the first tour, they go and search the search to find where are the tarsiers, since tarsiers are nocturnal(they sleep at daytime), they stay on the same spot the whole day. Some would change places/ trees but not far to where they were first seen.
Picture taking is allowed but no flash. Camera flashes can cause blindness to the tarsiers.
Information on the sanctuary and tarsiers are available at the information .

At the other side of the compound, there's a small pond with fishes and a hanging bridge.
