Before going back home to Italy from my vacation in the Philippines I
had a 3- week-stop-over in Dubai since im flying with Emirates airlines.

My friend who is a Dubai expat helped me processed my visa. I was there on the 2nd week of April to first week of May so it was not that hot but there were days when the temperature would rised up to 36-40 °C. Good thing I had with me my skin allergy due to heat medicine.
I would go out in the morning and have a stroll at the
Dubai Marina and
The Walk in JBR. Her apartment in Jumeriah Lake Towers is just accros the Sheikh Zayed Road, probably the widest and longest street in Dubai right infront of the JLT metro station. Crossing the said street is made more comfortable by the overpass of the very clean and recently opened Dubai Metro Station and it's also very convenient for me to travel from one place to another without taking a bus or asking my friend to tour me around. Besides, almost all the metro stations are all interconnected with malls and/or near major offices/buildings like the
Mall Of the Emirates, Dubai Marina Mall,
IBN Battuta Mall and the
Dubai Mall which is located in
Downtown Dubai where you call also find the World's tallest building,
Burj Khalifa and the impressive
Dubai Fountain. The
Dubai Creek is the only tourist sites we got lost because of its many gates and enormous size..

I also got the chance to visit the UAE's capital,
Abu Dhabi, the
Ferrari World in Yas Island and
Jebel Hafeet mountain in Al Ain , both are in Abu dhabi.
Going to Dubai wouldn't be complete without having a glance at the majestic
Burj Al Arab hotel and the sprawling
Atlantis hotel.
One really good thing about my Dubai stopover is that I got reunited with my old friends and gained new ones.

They really made my stay more fun, we ate in a
restaurant with a very unique setting, we partied in one of the busiest
clubs in the city and of course my most memorable excapade,
Desert Safari!!
