The Yap-San Diego Ancestral house located just across the Heritage Monument of Cebu dates back on 17th century.It is considered to be one of the oldest residential houses in the Philippines. It was originally owned by chinese merchant.

The materials used for the construction is the same materials used to build the Baclayon church in Bohol, corals and egg whites as cements.
