BAI ORCHID AND BUTTERFLY FARM

We had our lunch here at the Bai Orchid's restaurant located at the middle of the farm. The food is not extraordinary but the setting compensates it.

 

 

A small butterfly  farm will first greets the visitors. There were not much butterflies  but as I was going out of the enclosure , a butterfly flew towards me and stayed at my wrist until i was out .

The Orchids were in bloom at the time we were there. I really like  orchids, used to collect different varieties way back in Vigan and my visit to this farm made me like more and collect again.

 

 

 

 

 

They have a rather huge  plant nursery. One method they use to grow the orchids is inside the bottle.

This bottled seedlings are for sale. They make the transportation easier especially if one is going to take home abroad.

Another feature of the farm that caught my attention is their numerous ponds and wooden bridges.
