EARTH HOUR 2012

I've been reading a lot about Earth Hour but I've never thought that  I would be  part of it at a place very  far away from home. 

 

I was in my last leg of my Thailand tour when Earth hour was observed.I had my share by staying in the Dusit Hotel's dim lighted lobby for about 30 minutes thereby saving energy on lights and air con in my room. I would have wanted to stay longer but I needed to get some sleep because our call time the following day was 6:45AM that means I need to wake up at least an hour ahead to prepare and pack my things for our flight later on.

 

The hotel aside from turning off some lights in the lobby had even served dinner on a back to basic set up in observance of the Earth Hour. They served authentic local foods of Chiang Rai

 

 

 

It was just a little effort in my part but it was also fulfilling.
